November 30, 2001

This edition of Minnesota PRSA Link includes:

Architects of Change - December Monthly Meeting

"Architects of Change: The Evolving Role of Public Relations in a Turbulent World"

National PRSA CEO and chair Kathy Lewton will speak on our roles as an industry and as practitioners in our turbulent world. From the "que será, será" of the 1990s dot-com bubble to the leaner, more contemplative post-Sept. 11 world, public relations is both the architect and builder of change.  Increasingly, we are being asked to change the world at the same time we help others navigate it. This dual task requires vision, skill and commitment -- the qualities APR accreditation designates.

Lewton, one of the industry's most admired professionals, is a senior executive in the New York office of Fleishman-Hillard, the world's largest public relations agency. She has a 30-year career in public relations management, has received dozens of awards for her work, and has been profiled in PR Week, PR Tactics, Working Woman and pr reporter.
